Now cash strapped departments need only buy a couple of base units (from as little as £59.00) for their trolleys or electric chairs. 

In chairs, the patient sits on the cover in the upright position and then the back rest can be lowered. Once the patient is completely horizontal, their position can be fine tuned with the Glide & Lock.

On trolleys, the patient lies on top of the cover and position is fine tuned with the Glide & Lock.  Sitting up in Recovery afterwards– the patient can’t slide down because of the Glide/lock principle.
